WearIt is a virtual try-on app for iPhone and Android. You share it a photo of any garment and it generates a picture of you wearing it.
What WearIt does
Clothes are photographed on somebody else. WearIt exists because that is the wrong person — the only useful question about a garment is what it looks like on you, and until now answering it meant ordering the thing and sending it back.
WearIt sits in your phone’s share sheet, so it works from wherever you actually find clothes: a post on Instagram, a video on TikTok, a pin, a shop’s website, a screenshot from a friend, a photo you took in a changing room. You share the picture, confirm which item you meant if there is more than one, and see it on you. You set up your model once, from a selfie and a full-body photo, and every try-on after that reuses it.
What WearIt is not
- Not a shop. WearIt sells nothing and stocks nothing. When a photo arrives with a product link, the finished look hands you back to the seller’s own page.
- Not tied to a retailer. It works from a photograph, so it is not limited to the items one shop has prepared a model for.
- Not a fit service. A try-on is a generated image, not a measurement. It shows the look, not the fit, and sizing still comes from the seller.
- Not a way to put clothes on other people. You may upload photos of yourself only, never a child. It is written into the terms and enforced in the app.
- Not training data. WearIt does not use your photos to train AI models and does not sell your data. See the privacy policy.
